About the speakers:
Mag. Dr. Margit Kapfer – Senior Consultant at denkstatt Austria
Margit Kapfer has set up and led the energy & climate division of denkstatt group since 2002. She develops climate policy strategies for large organisations, assesses company greenhouse gas emissions, works on offsetting and sink projects in agriculture and forestry. Her PhD was on Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS) and she has served for the UNFCCC and the IPCC as an expert on CDM and on CCS.
M.Sc. Ina Blömer – Consultant at sustainable AG Germany
Ina Blömer studied Environmental Sciences (B.Sc.) at the University of Leeds in England, and did her M.Sc. in Carbon Management at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Main subjects of her studies were Corporate Carbon Foot printing and Climate Protection Management.
At sustainable, Ina supports companies in the development and implementation of climate strategies, calculates Science Based Targets (SBTs) and GHG balances (Scope 1-3) according to the GHG Protocol Standards. A further focus of her work is customer consulting for industrial companies covered by the EU Emissions Trading Scheme.
